What began with childhood catechesis grew into years of wandering, wrestling, seeking, and discovering the treasures of Scripture as confessed in the Reformed tradition. Reflections Along the Way
Coming to the Reformed faith wasn’t a rejection of the good the Lord gave me through my Lutheran formation. It was a continuation, a deepening, of what He began. Like moving from the foothills into the valley of vision, the doctrines I once held in seed form began to bloom.
Discovering the confessions, meeting pastors and elders who shepherded me patiently, and being received into Presbyterian and later URCNA congregations were all part of God’s plan. I hope this conversation encourages others who are exploring the same questions and seeking clarity.
