Earlier this year, we released the Reformed Calendar. It quickly became one of the most popular resources on our site. Readers used it on their phones and laptops, gave it its own color, and emailed to ask for more significant dates and more names. So we updated it.
Version 2.1 carries one hundred and two dates, nearly double the first edition. Every event repeats each year, and the file works in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and most apps.
What You’ll Find
You’ll find the births and deaths of Reformers and Reformed theologians, from Calvin, Luther, and Zwingli to Turretin, Owen, Bavinck, Berkhof, Vos, Kuyper, Machen, and Sproul. The calendar also marks the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort, and the Westminster Standards; the four ecumenical creeds and great councils; and the long story of the Huguenots, from St. Bartholomew’s Day in Paris to the founding of New Paltz in the New World.
How to Get It
The calendar is free. We’d suggest adding it as its own new calendar rather than merging it into your personal one, so you can give it a color of its own and keep the Reformation dates easy to spot. Download it and find step-by-step instructions for Apple and Google on the Reformed Calendar page.
